Marigot Collection: Modern Minimalism Fused with Timeless Design and Contemporary Functionality

Introduced in 2024, the Marigot Collection from James Martin Vanities offers a hybrid style, with elements reflecting modern, contemporary, and minimalistic design characteristics.

The minimalistic elements are apparent in the piece’s clean, simplistic design and focus on functionality. In the realm of bathroom design, defining and differentiating the modern and contemporary styles are often viewed with ambiguity and confusion. Modern style retains its original roots from 1900 to 1950, which is evident in the natural oak finish. Conversely, contemporary style is about the “here and now,” as is seen in the tambour door used in the bathroom vanities in the Marigot collection.  

You can choose a Marigot bathroom vanity in either a 48” wide single-sink or a 72” wide double-sink configuration. They both feature waterfall-style, solid oak frames, meaning they are free-standing pieces supported exclusively with a frame composed of wood with the same finish. Some of the specific details of these two pieces are as follows:

48" Marigot Single Vanity:

  • This versatile, mid-sized Marigot single-bathroom vanity fits well in most bathroom spaces.
  • Choose from our selection of 3cm eased, edge Silestone, Marble, or solid surface countertop styles, which are pre-drilled for faucets and include a white porcelain sink.
  • Has plenty of storage for a moderately-sized vanity with a fixed lower shelf and four drawers.
  • Includes some of the latest features, such as two 120-volt electrical outlets, two USB ports, and a solid drawer organizer with a wood finish.

72" Marigot Double Vanity:

  • This larger, dual sink vanity is an excellent “his and her” option in primary bathrooms or for jack-and-jill applications in three-quarter or other full bathrooms. 
  • Storage is plentiful with a full-length, fixed lower shelf, a fully assembled cabinet with three central drawers, and matching tambour doors, which open to reveal two additional drawers.
  • The piece is sturdily constructed using English dovetail joinery and solid veneers over moisture and UV-resistant, medium-density fiberboard (MDF) panels.
  • Some of the premium features include pairs of electrical outlets and USB ports, drawers lined with durable brushed-aluminum laminate, and soft-close drawer glides.

Consider adding matching accessories such as mirrors, which are available in many styles, including round, rectangular, or octagon with sleek, metallic frames.
